Once upon a time I posted here a few times under a different name, and then proceeded to (a) forget which name and (b) what was my password, and thus spent a bit of frustrating time acquiring a new user name and password. Anyway, a couple of you know me as RileyC over at LiveJournal.

Hello everybody,

I'm so glad to have found this site. I picked up "Still Life with Crows" years back as a quick read for an airplane ride and loved it! I then read every single book of theirs and just finished Cemetery Dance. I think Thunderhead is my absolute favorite, but yes, I love Pendergast too. Cemetery Dance has inspired me to start a much needed reread of the books, so I've just reopened the Relic.

I'm a pretty big horror/thriller/suspense...

I found Pendergast by accident. A college friend lent me Relic cause she wasn't into it, I pretty much ignored it for like a year before it wound up on my reading list, finished it that day and Reliquary ordred the very next.

I just found the board. I finished reading CD and got curious about what other fans are thinking, so here I am. I read Relic when it first came out in pb and have faithfully read all P/C books since. Favorites are the Pendergast ones. Also loved The Codex.

I don't know what else to say man I mean I like these books a hell of a lot and I think they are pretty rad in general and I'm basically enthused enough about them to register a whole new account on an unfamiliar board which is like pretty big for me because I have about three or four places I usually go on the interblags and this is basically like crashing a party where it's okay if you crash but it's sort of pointless if you don't know...

I just picked up Cemetery Dance, but have decided to re-read all of the Pendergast novels in order before opening up Cemetery Dance -- it will prolong the anticipated pleasure!

Hello to all my fellow Preston Child fans. I'm pretty new to the site and only joined a couple weeks ago. The first book I read was Cabinet of Curiosities and I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!
The reason I kept reading mainly because of Pendergast, if it wasn't for him I'm not sure I'd be on this site. LOL Though "Mount Dragon" and "Ice Limit" was good also.

While traveling South East Asia I picked up The Ice Limit completely by chance,
a blind purchase. A good time killer I thought for my many commutes.
Well, that lasted a bus ride. Instant addiction.
Over the next 2 months I would scour every open door that sold books for more P/C.
I did well.

Vacations over, I'm back home in Vancouver BC and am down to 2 P/C collaborations,
I feel like a junkie realizing I'll soon be without my "Fix"....
