I just started writing again... As in tonight... explaining why I am up at 2:30 in the morning. The way I write is a random stream of conciousness that comes together to form a somewhat coherent thought... As I am sure some of you can tell from my posts... Anyway back to the topic at hand I just pounded out just under 7 pages in roughly 4 hours... of course single spaced with paragraph indentation ten point font etc... It has been so...

For some weird, obscure reason I find myself contemplating the similarities between the Pendergast brothers and the offspring of Princess Diana.

Willam/Aloysius

blonde hair

Harry/Diogenes
younger brother
ginger hair

Both come from families that are rich and powerful enough to do whatever they want.

Both have notable nutcases in their ancestry.

I can picture Harry, as a baby, being fascinated with a diamond...

Hey, all!

Okay, so I'm a big fan of HBO's "True Blood". I was just thinking how cool it would be to see some fan fiction with a merge of True Blood (especially with the whole Louisiana setting) and Pendergast! I also keep thinking it would SO awesome if we were to find out that part of Pendie's rather exceptional *ahem* family line were of the vampire variety.....hmmmm....that could explain a few things.

Thoughts are welcome about this!

Pendergast Moments of WIN & FAIL

When I first started reading the Pendergast books oh, so long ago, I had this running list in my head of Pendergast's greatest moments. It slowly turned into his moments of WIN and FAIL. I made a list, checked it twice and after mentioning the idea of starting a thread to some fellow Pendergasters, decided to start a thread.

Here's the idea: Indicate whether it is "WIN" or "FAIL", title of book and whether it is paperback (PB) or hardcover (HC), page...

Okay, I admit it..."Secretary" is one of my all-time favorite movies. I found this cool little clip that made me drool....I find myself replacing James Spader (a hottie in his own right) with Pendie and.....swooooon! Can you imagine Pendie whispering "pull up your skirt with that gorgeous New Orleans drawl? Oh my.

Since a few of you are having some problems with these things, figured I'd better start a thread to see if it can all be figured out. Please keep in mind that my technical abilities are a lot of learn-as-I-go, but I'll do my best to help!

The first question would be - what browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer 8, this alone might be the problem. I found some info indicating that there is a compatibility issue with IE8 and yuku (I don't know why)....
